The coverage maps use embedded OpenStreetMap content. The external map is blocked by default. A placeholder explains the choice before you load it; declining leaves it blocked. Choosing to enable the map permits the browser to request that external content. The map illustrates coverage and does not establish an office address.
The browser preference is stored under the key hillingdon-map-consent with a granted or denied value. This is a functional record of the map choice, not an analytics identifier. No expiry is set by the website. It can persist until you change it or clear site storage, subject to your browser’s own storage controls. It is specific to the browser and site origin where you make the choice.
What happens when the map loads
Loading the map connects your browser to an external service. The provider can receive the network address and technical information needed to deliver the request. This notice does not invent third-party cookie names, retention periods or a complete external storage inventory. Those details still require checking against the live embed and provider information. Changing or clearing your preference

A change applies to subsequent map loading on this website; it cannot recall a request already sent to the external provider or erase information that provider has independently received.
